Egypt's Military Tries Thousands of Civilians

This morning's Washington Post has a disturbing story about the court-martial of an estimated 5000 civilians in the past 2 months since the military gained power in Egypt.  It appears most of those arrested and tried in military courts had some involvement in calling for regime change.  The article's description of 30 minute trials held in a kitchen with no notice to the accused's family members demonstrates the urgent need for significant reform of the Egyptian military justice system.
