Missing persons not to be tried in military courts

According to The News, Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, on Monday submitted before the Supreme Court that the government was not considering a proposal to try the cases of missing persons in military courts. Malik said the government had sufficient proof of foreign involvement in target killings and abductions in Balochistan, which he was unable to produce in an open court but about which he could take the court into confidence in an in-camera session.
